K-E-A-N Canada Events (Kinksters Experienced and New) is committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and educational environment for individuals in the kink and BDSM community across Alberta with the goal of being Canada-wide. Through Workshops, Munches, Kinky Connection, and Dungeons events, we create spaces where attendees can explore, learn, and connect. Our mission is to promote understanding, mutual respect, and personal growth within the kink community, supporting everyone from curious newcomers to experienced practitioners.

We envision a community where people of all backgrounds, genders, sexualities, and levels of kink can engage with kink positively and safely. We aim to break down stigmas, promote open dialogue, and establish K-E-A-N as a trusted resource for education and connection in Canada. We are passionate about empowering individuals through informed consent, negotiation skills, and the development of supportive relationships that extend beyond traditional norms.

BEYOND LEATHER AND INTERNATIONAL POWER EXCHANGE AND OUR OWN WESTERN CANADA POWER EXCHANGE
Beyond Leather is a premier, all-inclusive four-day BDSM and kink event held at a 4-star hotel in West Palm Beach, Florida. With 50+ workshops, expert presenters, and the International Power Exchange, it’s a unique chance to explore, learn, and play in a safe, welcoming environment.

This year, we’re thrilled to introduce the Western Canada Power Exchange, a new regional-level competition for those in power exchange dynamics, led by producers Brent and Cheryl and the dedicated K-E-A-N team. Join the adventure!

Contestants must be:
Open to anyone over 21 years of age living in the WESTERN CANADA region, regardless of gender or sexual preference, who has been in any power exchange dynamic for at least 1 year.
Can not have competed for this contest for the last 5 years.
Up to three (3) people to represent the authority transfer or power exchange relationship.
This can include such power exchange dynamics as Owner/property, Dominant/submissive, Master/slave, Femdom/submissive, Taken in Hand, Handler/puppy, Daddy or Mommy with a boi/boy/girl, Sir/Ma’am with a boi/boy/girl/little, Rope power exchanges and many more. A comprehensive list can be found here
Contestants are judged not on their dynamic, but rather on their individual performance and adherence to the established contest criteria. The focus is on their creativity, stage presence, and ability to showcase their skills within the competition’s structure, ensuring fairness and consistency for all participants. This approach allows for an objective and respectful evaluation of each contestant’s unique contributions. More details of this can be found in the application.
The title winners will have the opportunity to travel around the region representing the title by presenting educational classes on their personal dynamics. The winners of the Western Canada Power Exchange title will represent the region at the International Power Exchange contest, held at Beyond Leather in May.
