This role provides support for minor medical concerns, coordinates responses to medical incidents, and works closely with event leadership, security, dungeon monitors, hosts, and venue staff to help ensure a safe and supportive environment for all attendees.
In addition to physical wellness, the Medical & Wellness Director may provide initial emotional support and help connect attendees with appropriate resources when they are experiencing distress, overwhelm, or difficult situations. This role requires professionalism, discretion, sound judgment, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and dignity for all participants. Medical certification or relevant experience such as EMT, nursing, physician services, advanced first aid, or related fields is strongly preferred. General Volunteers assist wherever support is needed and may work with registration, attendee support, hospitality, setup and teardown, logistics, education, contest operations, and other event departments.
Responsibilities:
