VOLUNTEER WITH US

K-E-A-N (Kinksters Experienced and New) runs events that bring people together through education, connection, and play. None of this would be possible without our incredible volunteers — the humans who welcome guests, run classes, set up spaces, and help everything run smoothly.

Whether you want to be hands-on at events, teach, or help behind the scenes, there’s a place for you in our team.

All dates for Event volunteering can be found under Events

Volunteer Opportunities

Facilitator – Kinky Connection Nights weekly either on Tuesdays or Thursdays discussions or skill-based classes to help guests learn and grow.

Discussion Lead – Thurdsay once a month online mostly but also in person in each city we host events in a few times a year, creating a welcoming space for new comers, those returning to kink, and those looking for their community.  This event has a set agenda with a floating topic for each event added in.

Interactive Host (Learning Dungeon Events) – Guide participants through interactive stations, creating safe and engaging experiences. You are fully welcoming and engaging in kink activities with consent based conversations at the heart of it.  We use FRIES consent model and PRICK safety model.

Monitor / Event Host – Keep play spaces safe, respectful, and welcoming for all attendees.

Front Desk / Registration – Welcome guests, manage check-in, and answer questions.

Set-Up Crew – Prepare event spaces before doors open, including tables, equipment, and signage. Often done not on the day of the Dungeon event in Edmonton.

Tear-Down Crew – Help pack up and clean the space after events, ensuring everything is ready for next time.

Flip Crew – Transform daytime event spaces into evening event environments when we have more than one event in a day.

Performer / Demonstration – Lead live demos, performances, or short presentations for attendees. Typically one bottom, one Top and no real Q&A.  Think of this as a short (typically 20 mins or less) choreographed kink performace in most cases.  This is often done in dungeons or take overs and your usually asked to transision to Interactive Host after so attendees can learn from you.

Toy Keeper – Manage, track, implements. You are often the first contact for many people at our events to be educated on how implements feel and how to build up a scene using them.  You should have some understanding of Implements for this role.  It is also printing and tracking, you should be able to work in a space that has a lot of moving parts.

Behind-the-Scenes / Admin Support – Assist with emails, social media posts, ads, follow-ups, and other administrative tasks.  This is typically a daily role.  We do have special projects that do come up but usually the ask is every day.

Other / Special Skills – Have a unique skill or idea for helping? We want to hear from you.

Typical Event Crew Times are below and our special Event times are listed in our form and will be provided
