K-E-A-N (Kinksters Experienced and New) Workshop!

K-E-A-N (Kinksters Experienced and New) would like to invite you to join us for Edmonton’s newest workshop. We have two exciting sessions for you to attend!

Session one: 12 (noon) to 2 pm
Flogging with catgotyourpussy and doctor_ducky
Flogging is about so much more than a dominant partner hitting a submissive partner. Flogging is about building connections, trust, and journeying together as one. Historically, floggers were used for religious rituals and punishment before the BDSM community adopted the practice and tool as one of the cornerstones of their play. Contrary to popular belief, however, flogging creates a wide range of sensations, not only pain, from soft and tingling to intensely sensual all while providing a deeply emotional experience for both partners. In this workshop, we will teach you how to craft your own unique flogging ritual, including the different types of floggers available, the many ways in which floggers can be used, and how to make your play emotionally and physically safer for both partners. The workshop will begin with a flogging ritual demo and following a discussion, participants will have the opportunity to practice different flogging techniques with hands-on feedback. Please bring:
A notebook if you’re a note-taker, and your own flogger if you have one. The class will be a demo and hands-on.

Session two: 2:30 to 4:30 PM – Fire Play with Jack-Harkness and dramagirl83
Fire play can be everything from a dungeon stopping spectacle to close and sensual experience. Join us for a demonstration of beginner techniques through to advanced maneuvers and tricks. See how to lay down trails and patterns that turn people into a glowing canvas.
Why play with fire? Because it’s fun, it draws a crowd, and gets you, curious new friends. It’s also much safer than you realize. Safety topics will include sciencey (pyromaniac?) experiments. There will be a chance to make and try out your own torches.
Jack and Dramagirl have been dazzling Edmonton dungeons for over 4 years. You may have seen their individual and tandem displays anywhere that permits fire play.

Doors open at 11:30 AM. Doors close are closed once each session starts and will reopen at the end of the first session. In case you just want to attend one. Government ID is required to enter the workshop.
The ticket price is $5. To attend just one or both of the workshops.
If you attend the workshop and then attend the dungeon on the same night you only pay $25.00 at the dungeon.
