KINKY CONNECTION June Edmonton

K-E-A-N Edmonton: Let’s Talk Safety!
Real Conversations & Community Wisdom in Kink

This session is a community-driven conversation about safety in the kink world, grounded in real experiences, shared wisdom, and practical strategies.

Join us for an interactive discussion exploring practical strategies for screening potential partners, navigating first-time play, recognizing red and green flags, and responding when something doesn’t feel right. Through guided discussion and shared experiences, participants will have the opportunity to learn from one another in a supportive environment.

Rather than a formal lecture, this class is designed to be interactive, open, and grassroots, creating space for participants to learn from one another.

Whether you’re new to the community or have years of experience, this session offers an opportunity to exchange insights, reflect on your own practices, and strengthen your approach to safety in a supportive, non-judgmental environment. Together, we’ll build a community-generated “safety toolkit” with practical tips and strategies you can take with you beyond the session.

This class is open to all experience levels. Participation is encouraged, but sharing is always optional. Bring your curiosity and an open mind.
